Tiffany Pittman, School Health Coordinator at the Marshall University School Health Technical Assistance Center, School of Medicine, Division of Community Health, presented at the EveryChild NOW inaugural conference February 26-27 at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, WV. The presentation was titled “Analyzing the Correlation of Expanded School Based Mental Health and County Demographics.” The content provided an overview of the ESMH framework, compared the correlation of county level reported strengths with EveryChild Now data, and discussed how findings could inform us in meeting student mental health needs.

The conference centered around EveryChild NOW‘s five essential data pillars – economy, education, healthcare, neighborhood, and connection, was offered in partnership with West Virginians for Affordable Healthcare. Advocates, leaders, and change-makers explored how each pillar influenced the development of a well-rounded child.
