The 2025 Project AWARE Fayette County Conference was a huge success! Participants revisited the Three Little Pigs to symbolize the importance of building a strong foundation to support students. Teams spent time exploring and creating lessons in Ripple Effects. Finally, they analyzed tier 2 & 3 data, completed action plans for the 25-26 school year, created event calendars, and updated strategic plans.
Participating school teams included: Oak Hill High School, Oak Hill Middle School, Valley PK-8, Valley PK-8 Project AWARE, OHMS Student Support Team, and OHHS Student Support Team. New River Health participated and collaborated to strengthen all aspects of student support. Crystal Criswell of the Marshall University School Health Technical Assistance Center, School of Medicine, partnered with Suzanne Wood, Fayette Prevention Coalition to facilitate a presentation and discussion about the Benefits of Tier One using Fayette County’s data.
