Description

Bullying is characterized as the unwelcome, aggressive behavior that emerges in a relationship with another person or people when there is a real or perceived power imbalance. During school years and into adulthood, it may have an impact on mental, physical, and emotional health. In some cases, it can even lead to death. A recent study found that almost 40% of the students surveyed who were bullied were Black, compared to 33% of white students. In observance of National Bullying Prevention Month (October), this webinar will examine the toll of bullying on Black people’s mental health.
