Join the School-Based Health Alliance (SBHA) for a one-hour webinar focused on understanding and addressing how trauma can affect school-age children. This webinar was developed for health center staff; however, anyone interested in trauma-informed care in school-based health centers is welcome to participate. The webinar will aim to increase the audience’s knowledge of and capacity to define key principles of trauma-informed care in a school setting, identify the diverse ways in which trauma can affect school-age children, the importance of cultural competence in trauma-informed practices, and develop effective communication strategies to foster a supportive environment.
