The WV Project AWARE I conference is scheduled for July 19 and 20 at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV. Teams from Cabell, Clay, and Harrison counties will travel to attend sessions about trauma-informed education, wrap-around and crisis mobile response services, vaping prevention and intervention, transitioning students from intensive services back to school, suicide prevention, and more. Each team will also spend time planning for the coming school year with assistance from representatives of Marshall University’s School Health Technical Assistance Center, Marshall University’s Center of Excellence for Recovery, and the WV Behavior/Mental Health Technical Assistance Center.
