WV Substance Use Response Plan Town Hall Meetings

Jul 10, 2026 | Current Events, News

Attend the 2026 WV Substance Use Response Plan Town Hall Meetings on Aug 12, 19, 26, or Sept 3. If you can’t attend, submit online comments. Over the last year, the West Virginia Department of Human Services’ Office of Drug Control Policy and the Governor’s Council on Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment have overseen implementation of the WV 2026 Substance Use Response Plan.

The purpose of the virtual town hall meetings is to solicit feedback regarding updates to the plan for 2027. Each town hall meeting will offer breakout sessions for the sections of the Plan. Participants will select the session they wish to attend when they register.

Participants are welcome to attend any or all four 2026 town hall meetings if you wish to participate in more than one breakout session. Pre-registration is required for all meetings. Prior to the meeting, please download and review the .WV Substance Use Response Plan 2026 Quarter 1 Progress Report.
